This is one of my comic thesis's that I have been working and developing on at CCA for my graduate program, MFA in Comics 2024.
A comic about Maya, who works at her families generational nasi lemak stand. A restaurant magically appears overnight in her small town and everyone is obsessed with the food, almost too much... We venture deep to figure out with the protagonist, Maya, and her friend Dina, to figure out what is wrong with the restaurant. A comic filled with suspense, drama and supernatural elements based heavily on Malaysian culture.
